For a fire to burn, all three elements of the fire triangle must be present: heat, fuel and oxygen. To put out the fire, it is necessary to eliminate one of these elements. ReinoldMax 1kg dry powder fire extinguisher is charged with 50% ABC Dry Chemical. Dry chemical powder puts out the fire by coating the burning material with a thin layer of dust, thereby separating the fuel from the oxygen in the air. In case of a large fire, it is recommended to use several ReinoldMax fire extinguishers.
Fire extinguishers of this type are excellent at extinguishing fires of various types and can be used at temperatures up to -30°C. When extinguishing a fire indoors, remember that the dry powder in ABC fire extinguishers is toxic so try not to inhale toxic gases. After using the fire extinguisher, ventilate the room and wash your hands. Fire extinguishing powder does not dissolve in water, so it is recommended to vacuum the room thoroughly and remove the contents of the vacuum cleaner as quickly as possible.
